Here's the thing, You cannot set up 3 transistors in a diamond/triangle and make them work with the transformers, a 6 pill is 3 2 pills combined thorugh a ferrite transformer.
The combiners are in a diamond shape though.......

That is why the difference in rms watts from a 6 pill to an 8 pill is substantial, 3-400 watts rms.
An 8 pill is 2 4 pills in a push pull configuration.
A 6 pill is not nearly as efficient as a 4 pill or an 8 pill because of the inbalence.

:Prepares for the thrashing at hand:
just call two watt he will verify that the pills are in a diamond shape and it is more efficient than a 4 pill this is one time you are wrong Twisted Evil

I dont feel like arguing over nothing.
Push-pull designs only exist in amplifiers that have exponent pairs of 2 transistors. (4,8,16,32,64,etc.) These are the most efficient designs.
A push-pull is more efficient than a straight driven design.
Power output is not solely relative to efficiency, in that just because you get more power from one arrangement than another, does not mean it is more efficient, it is the percentage of power output per transistor relative to the input drive per transistor and drawn current at mode voltage.
I really do not want to get into mathematical arguments and fact versus handed down knowledge **** right now.

If I want to talk to the wall I will take some LSD. confused

Now BB, play nice.

The best way to resolve this is to let the amp speak for itself.

Merry Christmas.
