I think that I'm in trouble

For those of you that don't know, in Aug we got wireless internet here at the homestead. To get the proper signal strength they had to put up a 75' tower behind the barn which is already one of the highest points in the county. The GF will be away down your way early next week and I'm making a dipole antenna using Wilson 5' fiberglass antennas. Should I go for broke and mount way up high or just enough to clear the barn roof and hopefully be banished to the barn for a day or two?

Im surprised you have to ask.I must admit I am a little bit dissapointed in you Neutral

Put that sucker up there as high as it can go,unless of course your not enough of a man to scale that big old tower clown

Scaling the tower is a non issue. Heights are not a issue for me, highest tower that I have worked on 300+ feet. Just trying to semi-sort of staying out of sh!t thats all.

Well since your all cool with heights then I would just tell the girlfriend.....hey thats what towers are for,holding antennas.Cmon man you know no matter how bad you F up shes going to get over it eventualy anyway,mine always does Razz

if they are 5/8 wave antennas which most wilson fiberglass are, 36 feet should do the trick.

I would kill to have a 75 foot tower at the highest point around.

Wireless internet reciever is on top of the tower so can't use the top. Would love to use it thou.
