I dont think they make the 2990 anymore,I think if you want the onboard linear you have to go with the RCI2995 which is a real nice radio but no echo,it is basically a 2970 in a cabinet with a power supply. Or there is the General Stonewall Jackson which has onboard amp I believe but only has a 5 digit freq. counter I think I might go with a 2995 and get a Galaxy power,echo,roger beep desk mic to go with it.I dont know why I bother,I cant use it anyway till I move out of this communist town.I am working on it though,its hard to find rental properties where you are aloud to have dogs but the search goes on Shawn

The next place we move to thats just what Im gonna do.Im going to throw up a dipole at like 3:00 in the morning when everyone is sleeping.My man Pascal at Hamantenna up there in Canada makes a killer dipole he says it can take several......like 500 watts.I used one years ago with great results in the inverted v configuration.As far as here.....its too late to hide,the neighbors have such a hard on for me its not even funny I cant get away with shiz cause they all know to expect it out of me.It took them forever to find the Big Stick I camoflaged and stuck up in my tree in the middle of the night.I even went so far as to dig a tiny trench in the yard with an ice chopper to bury the coax.No matter eventually the code enforfement a$$.....I mean officer found it. Problem is you must apply for a permit to have any outside antennas.Since I already have had interference problems my application for a permit would go directly in the trash can And no I dont want the govt. controlling me thats why Im an outlaw on the 11 meter band Shawn
