You guys tell me.You know I want a big 10 meter base.Thing is I dont know which one.So tell me what you would pick.The 3 I like the most are .....but its not limited to them.....Ranger/RCI 2980wx,RCI 2995dx and the Galaxy dx2517.I am now leaning towards the 2517 mostly because I hear it has the newest and best board available in it.Only thing I dont like about it is only 5 digit frequency counter.So what would you pick even if its not one of those 3 and why would you pick it.I give up Im letting it up to you guys.Tell me whats on your mind Let me get this confederate flag wavin,chrome knob BAD ASS General lee Mobile outta the middle of the road and let these mudducks get a chance to ruffle some feathers Shawn

i would go with the rci with the built in amp
Yeah I like that a lot.Only problem is we are moving soon and dont know what the neighbor situation will be.....near or far ya know.I guess it is best to wait till we move and see where we wind up and if there are no neighbors rite on top of me then I probably will go 2995 amped base.On the other hand if neighbors are close I will be better off with a non amped radio,and of course a stealth dipole antenna thrown up at 3 am when everyone is in bed so noone sees whats going on. Yeah its funny.....We had been talking about getting out of this communist neighborhood for a while now but didnt really do anything to make it happen.Well today we got an email that the owner was going to be putting the house on the market.Usually that would make me want to panick but wanting out of here so badly it was like a great weight had been lifted.....Now we have no choice but to move and Im ecstatic about it.Cant wait. I will be taking any and all offers of moving help by the way Shawn

Yeah its funny.....We had been talking about getting out of this communist neighborhood for a while now but didnt really do anything to make it happen.Well today we got an email that the owner was going to be putting the house on the market.Usually that would make me want to panick but wanting out of here so badly it was like a great weight had been lifted.....Now we have no choice but to move and Im ecstatic about it.Cant wait.
