when i had it built, i didn't need a variable. 3w carrier swings to 47w all day. BTW, the guy who bought the radio messed it up somehow. he sent it back and i refunded his money. but now it swings about 25w with a horrible squeal? don't know what he did but i'm pissed because now i have to send it to sparky's for repairs. and the guy broke the case seal, so the warranty is shot. oh well.

Yup. I'd tell him to pound sand if those seals were cracked......

i had already refunded his money before i noticed the seals were broke. but, oh well. nothing i can do except send it out for repairs.
