that extra audio and power is also going off frequency, yes I run a 10 meter radio too, I like it, but I also know where whippit is coming from. barefoot 10m radios may do the deal, with power behind it, very unlikely it would smoke a cobra or uniden.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, so just keep thinking your export garbage is superior. And by the way my cobra's and unidens have echo boards so my audio is as good or actually i'll guarantee my audio sounds better than your copy of a copy radio's. |
Uh-Oh. Its getting rough in here. I love my export SS158. Wouldn't get rid of it for anything but, I'll tell you, my cobra 25 is louder. |
Not really getting rough here Nighthawk, it's just some people think they know way more than they acutally do. The only thing export radio's were made for is extra channels, that is it. I could put dual finals in a cobra 29 and make it do 45-50 watts PEP but there is no need for it. Export radio's are built to talk on different bands where more power is allowed, but once these hack jobs get their hands inside them they actually do less power on a BIRD meter than they would have stock. |

Where the hell is Happy Valley, I don't think I've heard of that retirement home...... Don't be mad because some of us choose to spend a quarter of the money you did for a radio that puts out more watts on the CORRECT frequency, and have better audio to boot. |
