I'm anxious, bounce lets do it. I'll have to gay it all up before there's any keying going on though......

i would also think a peaked & tuned cobra 29 WITH A STOCK FINAL would out power a peaked & tuned 959 with a stock final. no offense, but in my experience, any galaxy with a 3 number digit is garbage. No

There's your problem, the 1969 final swap is garbage in my opinion. A stock final is better because it keeps more watts on frequency. When most people put a 1969 final in they try and volt it out and it creates a lot of harmonics and spurious transmissions.

If I ever get my bench set back up, I'll redo that radio for free and you can see the difference for yourself.

Oh it will def. take some time. I sold all my crap because I was planning on putting a second alt. on my truck and running a 1x2 driving a straight 12 pill. Figured screw working on radio's, had all that equipment just to work on my stuff and my close friends stuff. Never did it for money or anything. After I sold all my stuff I lost my job so it will be a slow process.

I have faith, but need the RF pot for a variable mod. I don't like knobs through the case, not to mention this will be an in dash install in the mirage.
