After PMing back and forth with Shawn, I have realized that my meter is screwed. What do you guys use for meters??

Doscy tfc 3001.....3 window with 6 digit freq counter.Only difference from the pic is mine has red leds.Shawn[img][/img]

You got me I'm just a poser.

but really I was lookin at the Dosy TC-4001 or TC-3001P. I would eventually being mating it up with the dosy freg counter.

Either one is a very nice meter.My preference is a 3 window but that big single would surely be easy to see.Shawn

OMG I never noticed your age in yout avatar before.Yup pretty soon your going to be looking for a meter with builtin bifocals Razz Speaking of which Im 10 years behind ya but believe it or not I just got bifocals last year.My eyes are a mess and they have helped tremendously.Shawn

Well if you consider a little reefer during my high school years drugs.....well then you got me Razz Dont even recollect the last time I touched that stuff No I did however spend several years as a raging alcoholic Rolling Eyes That might play a part Laughing I love you Shawn

I have read elswhere on the net that the Daiwas are good quality.Heck they sell them at the Ten Tec Store,which is one of the big ham radio manufacturers.Looks like a nice meter.Shawn

I've been looking around (more) and was told by a hammie that there is a good source within a few hours drive that mail out cheap. This is what I'm looking at
