I like this one cause it has a 20 second rocordable module in it.I have access to hours upon hours of channel 21 craziness that I could pick out little snippets from and drive a few certain people out of their minds by meaking them listen to their own stupidity over and over again hahaha Oh the possibilities

rk56 audio problem

So I ran my rk56 on my General Lee for quite some time and everyone always told me it sounded great.Well the mic cord broke down by the plug so I had it fixed. Now everyone tells me it sounds mushy, distorted and over modulated. Why This wouldnt be due to the mic being wired wrong would it I would more think the element in the mic went bad or something.Any thoughts Shawn

So who wants to explain to me in laymans terms why some mic /radio combinations sound great and others sound like doodie?I run an rk56 on my Cobra 29 and my General Lee anda d104 on my RCI 6900.I have tried the d104 on the other 2 radios and it sounds like crap, have also tried the rk56 and an Astatic 636 on the 6900 and they sounded like crap.So what gives, why do some radios and mics just mesh and some dont?Maybe well never know Shawn
